Flux Regeneration System for Hot-Dip Galvanizing Lines

Time : 2026-06-10

Optimizing Coating Integrity: Our Advanced Flux Regeneration System

A premium hot-dip galvanized finish requires an ultra-pure flux bath. During the galvanizing process, iron carryover inevitably contaminates the flux solution, leading to increased dross formation, zinc waste, and surface defects like dark spots or rough coatings.

To guarantee uncompromised quality, our facility utilizes an automated Flux Regeneration System. This continuous online treatment system precisely removes harmful ferrous iron (Fe2+) contaminants and stabilizes the zinc-to-ammonium chloride ratio without interrupting production. By maintaining the flux bath at peak chemical purity, we significantly reduce zinc consumption, eliminate surface burning, and deliver exceptionally uniform, high-adherence coatings for every project.

Key Advantages

Cost Savings: Reduces the consumption of fresh flux, lowering operational costs.

Environmental Benefits: Minimizes waste flux disposal, supporting sustainability.

Improved Flux Quality: Restores the flux's cleaning and fluxing properties, enhancing coating adhesion.

High Efficiency: Continuous regeneration process allows for efficient, high-volume production.

Durable Construction: Made from corrosion-resistant materials to handle the harsh chemical environment.

Typical Technical Parameters

Fully automatic unmanned flux iron removal integrated system.

Non-standard customized skid-mounted system for easy installation and transportation.

After treatment, Fe²⁺ concentration is reduced to below 2 g/L, helping to shorten dipping time, reduce dross generation, minimize bare spots, and improve galvanizing surface quality.

Automatic chemical dosing system to adjust pH value to 4.50.

Filtration area: 15–60 m².

Application in Hot-Dip Galvanizing

The Flux Regeneration System is widely used in hot-dip galvanizing lines to recycle flux in pretreatment processes. By regenerating the flux, it reduces operational costs, minimizes waste, and ensures that the flux performs optimally, contributing to high-quality zinc coatings and sustainable galvanizing operations.
